Participants have now entered Phase 2 of the recent Caravan Jobs training program intake in Melbourne’s north at the Alphington work site. The Real Jobs, Right Now program is a partnership between NORTH Link and Caravan Industry Victoria, funded by Jobs Victoria, and has delivered 45 jobs over 2021-2022.This program, managed and run by NORTH Link, is split into three phases:
- Phase 1: Ten days of paid pre-employment training.
- Phase 2: Five days of paid vocational training.
- Phase 3: Six days of paid placement in a caravan manufacturing business over two weeks.
On completing Phase 2 of the training, the participants will enter 6 days of work placement at a caravan manufacturer in Melbourne’s north prior to starting permanent work in what we hope will be a long and rewarding career in the caravan industry. The participants are also provided with support during and after the program. It is pleasing to witness the personal transformations over the journey of the program and beyond.The next intake commences on Monday 15 August.
