The Victorian Government has announced four new local cases of COVID-19 in Melbourne’s northern suburbs and have identified 10 new Tier 1 exposure sites.

Anyone who has visited a Tier 1 exposure site during the times listed must immediately isolate, get a COVID-19 test, and quarantine for 14 days from the date of exposure.

Additional COVIDSafe measures will be put in place across Metropolitan Melbourne to help keep Victorians safe.

From 6pm Tuesday 25 May within Metropolitan Melbourne:

• private gatherings in the home will be limited to five visitors per day

• public gatherings will be limited to 30 people

• and face masks will need to be worn indoors, unless an exemption applies. The face mask requirement applies to everyone aged 12 years and older, and includes indoor workplaces and secondary schools.
