NORTH Link led a successful delegation to Canberra to see Government and Opposition MPs between 26 and 28 March 2018.

Issues raised included:

  • Manufacturing Industry Policy
  • Airport Rail Link
  • North East Link
  • Freight and Port Rail Shuttles
  • Energy Prices and Possible Solutions
  • Proposed Food and Beverage Hub at Epping
  • Health Issues, including Mental Health Services for Region
  • Tertiary Education Infrastructure
  • A City Deal for Melbourne’s North

Productive meetings occurred with a number of Government Ministers and Opposition Shadow Ministers, including:

  • Hon Paul Fletcher MP, Minister for Cities and Urban Infrastructure
  • Hon Josh Frydenberg MP, Minister for the Environment and Energy
  • Hon Greg Hunt MP, Minister for Health
