Cann Group supplies medicinal cannabis for Australian clinical trial assessing quality of life impacts for advanced cancer patients
La Trobe School of Cancer Medicine (comprising Cann Group Limited and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute) and Austin Health are partnering in a clinical trial to assess medicinal cannabis for symptom management in people with advanced cancer.
A first-of-its-kind clinical trial in Victoria, this study will evaluate the efficacy of the drug by assessing global quality of life in its participants, as well as pain, anorexia, nausea, anxiety and sleep.
