COVID-19 business information and support

We’ll keep you updated with information that will help support your business as we all experience the impact of COVID-19.
Our close partnerships with industry, government, education and health are valuable in receiving timely information on financial support, handling employees and trade updates.
Government support
The Australian Government’s latest stimulus package includes support for business investment and cash flow assistance for businesses.
Both AusIndustry’s Contact Centre (t: 13 28 46) and www.business.gov.au are playing a key role in promoting and advising small businesses on the new packages. The team will be available from 8am-8pm, 7 days per week to answer stimulus package related questions. Stimulus FAQ sheet.
Business Victoria continues to update information on how businesses can manage the impacts of COVID-19.
Short survey
We’d appreciate your help by completing a three question survey that we can share with government to better understand the impact COVID-19 is having on businesses and to identify where help can be given. Please complete the questionnaire here.
Victoria’s shutdown
The Victorian Government has announced that non-essential businesses must close to the public until further notice. This includes the following businesses.
- Pubs
- Clubs
- Places of worship
- Nightclubs
- Entertainment venues
- Cafes and restaurant restricted to takeaway only.

Postponement of events
Scheduled MNFG and NORTH Link events from now have been postponed until further notice. Please be aware of our email communications that will keep you updated.
There is potential for some events to be trialled as webinars, and you will be notified accordingly.
Food and beverage exchange
We’ve been proactive in communicating with our business network who need ongoing opportunities to trade. Providing support for our partners and the industry is our main priority during this time. We would like to gauge your interest in contributing to a network that will allow you to buy from and sell to other industry members.
