Celebrating Women in Manufacturing: NORTH Link & SEMMA Host Inspiring Network Event

On 13 November, NORTH Link, in partnership with SEMMA, proudly hosted the Women in Manufacturing Network at The Deck Box Hill RSL.

Championing women in manufacturing and promoting workplace equality is a cause close to our hearts. Maria Mavrikos from Steel Chicks captured this perfectly in her presentation: “Diversity is a competitive edge: it fuels productivity and innovation.” Thank you, Maria, for sharing your insights and experience with the group.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Jo Hocking, 2025 Woman Manufacturer of the Year from Copamate, for sharing her inspiring journey. Jo’s story motivates not only women in manufacturing but also young people exploring their career paths.

A big thank you to Sean Teer and the South Eastern Melbourne and Peninsula Local Jobs Program for sponsoring the event. Your support is essential in making gatherings like this possible.

We look forward to continuing this important conversation and seeing the Women in Manufacturing Network again next year!
