Melbourne’s North Food Group was proud to co-host the Hong Kong Market Insights and Networking Session on the morning of Thursday, 6 June, at Novotel Melbourne Preston, in partnership with Global Victoria and Export Connect.

The session attracted a strong turnout of food and beverage businesses from across Melbourne, all keen to explore export opportunities and better understand one of Asia’s most dynamic markets, Hong Kong.

Guests heard from Peter Chan, the buyer from Chef’s Garden, who delivered a compelling presentation filled with timely market intelligence and actionable insights. From consumer trends and regulatory updates to logistics and distribution pathways, Peter provided a clear and practical overview of the Hong Kong market and its role as a strategic gateway to wider Asia.

Following the presentation, attendees had the chance to connect directly with Peter in a lively networking session. Many businesses were keen to introduce their products and share their export ambitions, reflecting a strong appetite for growth and international engagement across the region.
